Don Quijote is a popular discount store chain commonly found in the Asia-Pacific region. It originated from Japan and opened its first store in Suginami, Tokyo. As of 2022, Don Quijote has over 160 locations that have a vast array of gadgets, food, clothes, beauty products, and toys all over the country!
Don Quijote was founded by Takao Yasuda in 1980 under its initial name, Just Co. The very first “Don Quijote” named store opened in Fuchu, Tokyo in 1989. The store today is well known in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Hawaii, Thailand, Taiwan, and Macau.
