I really enjoy all of the classes at KCP.

Alexandre from 2013

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I really enjoy all of the classes at KCP. The main class can be challenging at times, but I learned so much from the class. The Road to Kanji Master class and the Undoukai event were also very fun.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I feel that everything about the program was productive and interesting.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I think they are all helpful, especially the textbooks.

Overall, how would you rate your instructor’s teaching of this course?

Excellent

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

Because it was optional for me since I did not need the credits, I only went on the field trips. I really enjoyed the trips. I feel that being able to see something first hand is very different than reading or listening about it.

Where did you reside over the course of this program?

Dormitory

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

It's really nice living in the Ikebukuro dorm. It's not a long commute to the school, Ikebukuro Station is not too far either so you can go out and do something. It's also fun to meet new people from your own country as well as meeting people from other countries.

Testimonials

Because I am a huge fan of research and spreadsheets, I created an excel worksheet comparing numerous Japanese study abroad programs by cost, housing, length of study, and many other comparison points. Overall, KCP came out superior based on the amount of things that you get for the price. After completing the program, I can say choosing KCP was a perfect decision. KCP is a real school — professional teachers, strict grading systems, textbooks – the whole package. KCP proved to be much more than I expected – the classes are tough, but it taught me how to work harder, build a work ethic, and I am coming out with many rich experiences thanks to KCP. This school truly prepares you for higher levels and entrance into Japanese colleges.
