Practicing with peers after learning new grammar patterns was very productive and interesting.

Tessa from Fall 2015

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The trip to Yamanashi was incredibly interesting.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

Practicing with peers after learning new grammar patterns was very productive and interesting.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

Pair work

Any suggestions for improving class activities or materials?

I would strongly recommend insisting that beginners have previous experience in the language, at least a year or more. It's very difficult for someone with no prior experience.

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

Yes I was pleased. It was very convenient.

Testimonials

I selected this program because it allows me to use my student loans to attend, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to have this experience. I also wanted a challenge and to improve my fluency as fast as possible. The pace at KCP is challenging but helps me focus.
