Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I really enjoyed the Kamakura trip. I got to know the other US Program students a little better which was really nice! It was also fun to stay a night at a ryokan with everyone. I liked the Speech contest as well, because it was fun to work with my classmates to come up with and practice our skit. Seeing the other classes' skits was really cool!

Why did you select this program?

I chose KCP because the classes are taught in all Japanese, which I think is really helpful for truly grasping the language. I thought KCP would be a good program for me because I am a hard worker, and I don't give up easily.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

The English Support Sessions were so helpful and very productive!

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

Pair work was really helpful a lot of the time because I need practice speaking. But sometimes I forget what questions they want us to ask each other, or I would forget how to say something that we learned a while back.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

Learning new things about Japanese culture, and spending time with the other US Program students.

What did you find least valuable in the Culture Course?

There is really anything I can think of that wasn't very valuable about the culture classes.
