The fun Japanese course was indeed fun!

James from Winter 2017

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The Culture Classes were always very enjoyable, in addition to being filled with interesting information.

Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?

The fun Japanese course was indeed fun.

Why did you select this program?

The program was focused on language, which I wanted to improve. Additionally, it was located in Tokyo which was the area in Japan that I wanted to visit.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

Being able to see the culture that Japan has to offer up close and personal. Additionally, being able to connect with other English speakers during the classes helped reduce a lot of the stress in being in a foreign country.

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I was very pleased, the dorms allowed me to connect with even more people and thus made more friends during my time here. I did enjoy that it was in a more quiet part of town, it made relaxing. Additionally, it wasn't terribly far from good restaurants or fun things to do, so overall very pleased.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

The first week will be rough, and there is no way around that. However, past that everyday is filled with new and exciting things and as you near the end of the course, it will be hard to say goodbye.
