Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The trip to Yamanashi was amazing. We got to see a peach farm and although Mt. Fuji was covered by clouds, the countryside was still a beautiful sight.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

The most productive were the teaching styles used at KCP. I was able to learn much easier than I have in the past when using different books and teaching styles. Everything about the program was interesting and I don't have a negative thing to say about it.

Any comments or tips for prospective/new KCP students?

Just hang in there and try to think in Japanese. Also, the grammar notebook is a life saver, so keep it with you at all times.

Testimonials

I wanted to be in a major city in Japan and learn Japanese, and this program had good reviews online in addition to being affiliated with several universities that I knew of. There was also a decent amount of information available online from non-official sources, which gave me good information on living arrangements and general life as a student.
